Russian Orphanages

Russian Orphanages
A typical "shower" at Russian orphanages consists of a rusty sink running cold water. This picture shows the girl's bathroom, one of the two identical facilities for all 145 children at a Russian orphanage. Also in this tiny room, there are two wall-less toilet bowls immediately adjacent to each other and three sinks. The water leaks through the rotten floor into the boy's bathroom downstairs. Not having a proper shower facility is a common problem at Russian orphanages. Most of the buildings that house orphanages require major renovation, like keeping the roof from falling down on their heads. Please help now!
